Uses of Lithium Hydroxide

Lithium hydroxide is one of the main raw materials for producing high-grade lithium-based lubricating grease. It has a wide range of applications, primarily in chemical raw materials, chemical reagents, battery industry, petroleum, metallurgy, glass, ceramics, and other industries. It is also an important material in the defense industry, nuclear energy industry, and aerospace industry. Lithium-based lubricating grease produced with lithium hydroxide has a long service life, strong water resistance, excellent fire resistance, resistance to oxidation, and stable performance during multiple heating-cooling-heating cycles. It is suitable for a temperature range from -50°C to +300°C and is widely used in equipment, aircraft, automobiles, rolling mills, and lubrication of various mechanical transmission parts. In the battery industry, lithium hydroxide is used as an additive in alkaline batteries and nickel-metal hydride batteries to extend battery life and increase energy storage capacity.
